What is Special Quest?

Special quests are the great way to advance Your status at the club, to help fellow Members or receive help, and to make friends, who share Your values and interests.

Let us illustrate Special Quests with just three actual stories.

A Farigo Member had to arrive from Finland to the Boston Airport on a certain day and then needed a ride to Pennsylvania. Farigo Team turned the problem into an optional Special Quest for other Members and assigned the credit value (400 credits). Another Farigo Member, who lives in Pennsylvania, took on this quest, picked up the fellow Member in Boston, drove him to Pennsylvania, reported us back, and received 400 credits for completing the quest.

Another quest has been initiated by a Farigo Member, German businessman, who urgently needed an appointment with a particular government official in Moscow, Russia. Farigo Team assigned the value of 2,000 credits for this quest, and one of our Members in Russia took it on. The meeting has been arranged in two weeks, and the Member in Russia, who helped to set it up, received 2,000 credits.

Yet another quest was started by our Member in West Virgina, who had a research project on dating the medieval narratives and desperately needed an assistance with the linguistic analysis of 16th century texts. Farigo Team was excited with this research outcome and assigned 3,500 credits for this quest. One of our Members in Ohio turned to be a graduate student with a great expertise in the particular area, and he took on this quest. In 3 months the research project has been successfully completed, and our Member from Ohio received 3,500 credits.

As a Member You can initiate a new special quest to get help or take on other Members' quests to obtain credits, make new friends, and advance Your status.

Special Quests are optional and are unlocked at Level 3. You can receive from 100 to 10,000 credits for completing a Special Quest.

What is Dream Project?

If You joined Farigo, You must have a special Dream of Your own. The chances are that Your dream might be accomplished via large-scale business, research, or art project, and, if this is the case, we step in to help with the resources, organization, knowledge, and network.

Depending on the nature of Your Dream Project, its complexity, scale, and impact, we assign the credit value for successful completion of Your project. It means that You not only get solid help from the club to make Your Dream real, but also advance Your status at the club, when You complete Your Dream Project.

Dream Projects are optional and are unlocked at Level 46. You can receive from 1,000 to 50,000 credits for completing a Dream Project.

What is Daily Activity?

Daily Activities are an easy way to obtain several credits.

Simply tell us about anything special You have done today and get rewarded for Your effort. Decide which one of the many activities You had today You would like to share. Pick the one that You feel deserves the most appreciation. If everything was casual today, then choose Your least casual activity or simply do something special!

Here are a few tips and hints to obtain the most on Your Daily Activity:

Clarity. "I met my buddy" will score some credits, but "I visited my good old friend" will earn more credits.

Details. "I visited my good old friend who lives 200 miles away and whom I haven't seen for 5 years" will get You some extra.

Effect. If Your activity has any impact on Yourself or others, please mention it and get extra credits.

Confidence. Do not hesitate to tell Your story, even if it looks like "nothing special". Sometimes casual things produce much impact.

Sincerity. That's important! We take credibility of Your story into account when awarding this story and Your future Daily Activities.

If there is nothing special going on today, You could do small things that make You or others happier and stronger. For example, You could help Your friends or relatives with whatever errands they have or simply take a good rest.

The best way to receive really good credits is to do really good things. You will receive extra for doing brave, good-spirited, creative, and fun things, especially those which count toward Your dreams and goals.

Your Daily Activity stories are kept absolutely private and will never be posted on the website. We do not implement any kind of automatic evaluation, so please allow up to 36 hours for receiving credits on Your activity.

Daily Activities are optional and are available from Level 1. You can receive from 1 to 10 credits for a Daily Activity.

What is Heroic Act?

We consider it a Heroic Act, when You risk Your life for the sake of other people or for the sake of Your Dream.

We award big credits for Heroic Acts only several times a year. If You did something nice, but not really heroic please report it in Daily Activities. If You believe You have demonstrated heroism, click "Heroic Act" on the left-hand side menu and type in the details. We will contact You and request to provide the evidence. If Your Heroic Act is confirmed, Your standing in the club will be boosted dramatically.
